Tylney House

Tylney House is located right in the centre of Bath – a perfect base to enjoy the city by foot. This elegant Regency-style townhouse is ideal for families and friends: 4 stylish modern bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and spacious living areas.

Living areas:

The first floor comprises of the living room, dining room and kitchen. The living room, with its comfortable corner sofa, 40″ Samsung smart TV, board games, toys, DVD and book collection is perfect for entertaining or a peaceful refuge. The dining room has seating for 10. From the dining room you enter the fully equipped kitchen. Apart from the usual oven, hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, it has all the equipment you need to make a fine feast or just a simple breakfast.

Bedrooms

4 well-sized bedrooms comfortably sleep up to 11 guests. All the beds have pocket sprung mattresses, made with crisp cotton bed linen for a great night sleep. On your preference beds can be made up as super-king or singles.

Bathrooms
There is a large family bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower and a separate bath. Another family bathroom has a walk-in shower and there is a smaller bathroom on the stairs.

Set over 3 floors, this Georgian townhouse was designed by the famous architect John Wood in 1729, and a friend of Jane Austen, Earl Tylney, lived here. Thoroughly refurbished, Tylney retains many authentic features like high ceilings, sash windows and a fireplace in every room!ntent

Living areas

Truly exquisite dining and living rooms are on the ground floor. The spacious living room with its 50” smart tv and a plush corner sofa provides a delightful space for entertaining or a comfortable retreat. Through the wedding doors is a magnificent Georgian dining room that sits 16 guests. Only a stair flight up there is a beautiful bathroom.

A large, fully equipped kitchen with a Rangemaster cooker on the lower floor is ideal for making a fine feast or a simple breakfast. Next to the kitchen is a private courtyard with seatings.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

There is one golden bedroom with an en-suite good-sized shower room on the lower ground floor. On the first floor, there are two beautiful bedrooms connecting to a large bathroom with walk-in rainfall shower. The second floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom which is pure indulgence with its free-standing bath, walk-in shower and a vanity unit.

We want you to have a great night's sleep: our beds have pocket sprung mattresses and crisp cotton bed linen. Based on your preferences, we can set up single or super-king beds.

The entire house is yours for the duration of your stay. The price is adjusted depending on guest numbers, making Charlotte’s Townhouse a truly superb value.
